1. Auditions are required for all students looking to attend Northport Music Institute.

2.Lessons are $150 a month, for 30 minute lesson for children. Tuition is a monthly fee for your time slot not per lesson. Tuition is due on the seventh of the month. NMI accepts cash, check, or Apple Pay. Please make all checks payable to NORTHPORT MUSIC INSTITUTE. Your monthly fee is the same each month. You are responsible to pay your tuition even if you miss your first lesson of the month or it falls on a holiday. Tuition is late after the first week of the month.

3.$200 registration fee due each school year. This fee is to be included in Northport Music Institute's schedule for the year because we have limited openings. This fee is charged after you pass the audition.

4.$200 annual fee due each school year. Cost for providing music to each student and the ongoing assessment of the musical level of each student in each lesson.

5.$150 Joint Recital Fee (per student). This fee covers the cost of staffing for recital setup as well as refreshments being provided when necessary.

6.$250 Solo Recital Fee (per student). This fee covers the cost of advertisement for best attendance of a student's solo recital, staffing for recital setup, an accompanist for recitals, and refreshments being provided when necessary.

7. A late fee for 10% monthly tuition will be added at the end of the first week of the month.

8. The students will receive 3-5 lessons per month.

9. To receive a make-up lesson for a cancellation, you must give the instructor at least 7 days notice of original lesson time. Any same day cancellations will not be made up and the lesson will be forfeited. There is a one make-up lesson limit per month and it is arranged in advance at the instructor's convenience. Any other cancellations during that month are forfeited. Make-up lessons also depend on spot availability.

8. To be removed from the schedule, you will need to provide a month's notice.

Northport Music Institute will notify the students which holidays that the music school will be closed.

Since 5th lesson days are free, there are no refunds or make-ups that fall on holidays.
